About Liz and Gilmore  dachshund drag

Hello and Welcome!

I am Liz Huller Eisemann, storyteller at Gilmore the Dachshund ©. Gilmore and I live in sunny southern California.  I am originally from Boston and still a Bostonian through and through but nothing beats San Diego weather.  I draw a lot of fake snow!

In August 2015 at 4 months old Gilmore traveled from Texas to California by airplane.  I wanted to draw him from the moment he stepped out of his crate and on to my lap! Gilmore is our second red standard Dachshund and a wonderful muse. He is sweet and as stubborn as a dachshund from head to toe but mostly a bit better behaved and not quite as adventurous as my illustrations portray.

I graduated the with a BFA from Syracuse University ( you do not need to know how long ago) and have had a few careers that filled me with great satisfaction and pride but illustrating every day has brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined!

I use kindness and compassion with my clients and will always be generous with my heart.

I work from home with Gilmore at my feet all day every day and even though he adores his human dad, he thankfully chooses to spend his days with me.

I am truly grateful for all the projects I have completed big and small and we still do a happy dance with every sale made in my Etsy shop. Let’s work together and create something wonderful.

Thank you for having a look around, I am happy to share my joy.
